Homemade Coconut Coffee Scrub

I have come across many a recipe of this scrub so I decided to give it a go and make my own version. There are many versions that you can go check out online but this is my own personal take on it. Hope you all like it, because I love it! What makes me even more mad for this recipe is it’s not made with crazy ingredients that are difficult to find. All these items are right in your own kitchen. Now, before we get to the good stuff, let’s talk about how good this stuff is for your skin!

Mad Tip:
For the ground coffee I upcycled the coffee grounds that were used to make this morning’s coffee. I’m Filipino and as you may know, we do not like to waste anything. ANYTHING! Just dry them out before use.

If you don’t have muscovado you can always use brown sugar. Works just a great.

Now with all the info out of the way let’s get to the concoction itself.

There’s no special proceeder, all you have to do is just mix all this goodness up.

And there you have it! Try not to lick yourself! I dare you!

Mad Tip:
When not in use I put my concoction in the fridge. That way, when you use it, it feels oh so refreshing and rejuvenating. Also makes it last longer!

Mad Tip:
If your not feeling how it looks in the jar, you can always scoop em up and dump it in ice cube trays, then stick it in the fridge for an hour or until solid, then pop them out and your good to go. They look so darling, plus helps with portion control and makes an excellent presentation for gifts.

Hope to hear how you enjoyed this recipe and if you have any Mad Tips for me to make this scrub even better please feel free to share!

Stay Happy!
